Hundreds of thousand masks. Spectacular boat races. Flights of human-doves and large papier-mâché rats. Street artists. The delicious cream and zabaione of Venetian frittelle (doughnuts-like fried pastries). The smell of flavoured red wine through alleys. Children full of confetti and sparklers. Winter costumed swimmers. Makeup artists. The big shows in San Marco Square. That's the incredible and colourful atmosphere of Venice during Carnival.

In the last years, I covered the Venetian Carnival for many magazines and newspapers. If you need pictures of the 2015 Venice Carnival (31st January – 17th February) for your activity, please, contact me via e-mail. Here you can see some articles and photo-galleries published on "The Way of the Miles – Steps' Diaries, Journeys' Tales, Life reportage”.
